A huge thank you to our extended community who came along to support our inaugural MAGS Student Art Expo on August 2.
There was a great vibe, including live music from our students throughout the day, resulting in a hugely successful event.
Not being a fundraiser, the students receive most of the value of their sold work, just like the ‘real’ artists. Deputy Principal Mrs Cato said, “It was such a thrill to see families taking photos of ’their’ artists next to their work which featured paintings, photographs, ceramics, product design and digital production. Thanks to our fabulous sponsors, whose support enabled us to provide a professional-looking gallery atmosphere to showcase student work for this event. Please support our sponsors where you can.”
