This tournament is held at the North Shore Events Centre, lasting 4 days if you get through to the play-offs. MAGS were always ahead in this game and finished with a score of 104 – 60.
The final of the AKSS competition was held at the North Shore Events Centre between Rosmini College and MAGS, who were runners-up after Rosmini won 80-48.
MAGS Premier Girls Basketball team are AKSS Champions after beating Auckland Girls Grammar 59-52 in a close game played at the North Shore Events Centre.
This competition final was played out at Mt Smart Stadium No 2 field where the lighting formed a huge challenge.
Kelston won the battle 14 – 6.
The APC Final played at Seddon Fields was a direct repeat of the 2017 final with Epsom again winning 1 – 0 except the goal, this time in the first half seemed against the run of play.
Mount Albert Grammar School played Westlake in the quarter-final of the Knock Out Cup competition at MAGS.
MAGS scored first in the first half with Westlake equalising just before half-time. However, the second half saw MAGS score four more goals to finish winning 5 – 1.
The Junior Girls Blue Basketball team played out at Pulman Park in the Auckland Championships winning all their games in their pool.
This qualifies them for the semi-finals which will be played on Friday.
MAGS played One Tree Hill College at home in the semi-final of the Girls 10’s Rugby competition.
They led 22 – 10 at halftime then went on to win comprehensively 41 – 15. They will play Mt Roskill Grammar School in the final.
MAGS Premiers finished third at the Division 1 Championships played at College Rifles Rugby Club.
In the semifinal they lost to Mt Roskill Grammar 4-2 before going on to beat Avondale College 7-6 for third spot.
