Director of Football
Mount Albert Grammar School has a long tradition of sport and the school is proud of its success at the highest level. We have a strong foundation of football with teams competing in both girls and boys Auckland competitions across all levels from Year 9 to Year 13. The school has a history of developing players who go on to play at higher levels, including a number All Whites and Football Ferns. The girls have a long history of success, and currently hold New Zealand Secondary School titles in Football and Futsal.
We seek a suitably qualified person that will demonstrate attributes to effectively meet the needs of students involved in the MAGS Football teams programme and lead our junior football academies. Hours and remuneration to be negotiated with the successful candidate. Holding a teaching qualification is an advantage but not a necessity.
The successful candidate must be available for teaching the Year 9, and 10 academy classes during the week and available in the weekends to coach and support all football matches. They would also be expected to lead the development of all football coaches and co-ordinate the organisation of football teams throughout the year.
Applicants for this position should have NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa.
