Come and support our talented Performing Arts and Music students next week as they put on two concerts with an exciting variety of performances.
On Monday, September 24 the Junior Bytes concert will be held at Centennial Theatre at 7.30pm and feature performances as well as the presentation of Junior Arts Awards. There will be music items from classical pianists, R&B singers, rock music, various bands and the MAGS choir. There will also be some amazing dance students including the junior performance group, spoken word, and some funny and powerful Drama pieces by Junior Drama students.
On Tuesday, September 25, Arts Alive kicks off at the same time and same venue with a dazzling array of performances and the presentation of the 2018 Arts Lions.
Come and see some great music from the jazz band, Gypsy Jazz musicians, the wonderful Wondercats plus the best of Drama with some amazing scenes from the Sheilah Winn festival and The Visit. There will also be performances by the award-winning MAGS Megacrew Hip Hop team, Year 13 graduating Dance class and, as always, the ever-popular rite of passage for our school student leaders: The Prefect Dance.
