Swimmers tune up at Auckland Champs

MAGS swimmers put in some strong performances at the Auckland  Open Championships at the weekend as they count down to the NZ Secondary School Championships in September.
None more so than Brearna Crawford, in the Girls 15 years division of the championships, held at West Wave Aquatic Centre, Henderson.
Coach Paul Kent said, “She was the top performing Swimmer of the Championship, beating the best that Auckland swimming had to offer. Brearna won seven Gold medals and one Bronze.”
Mr Kent added: “The team had a fantastic vibe and produced some strong performances. The team on the whole swam with a lot of purpose and pride. They produced outstanding swims for this phase of their preparations.”
