Prefect Oliver Mathiesen has won a $20,000 scholarship to attend the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York.
Oliver was one of two New Zealand dancers to win the scholarships after performing before international tutors at the Kairos Dance Convention in Auckland on 22-23 July.
The scholarship will enable Oliver to study for a four-year degree in the performing arts, including dance and musical theatre.
