National indoor archery champion

Lauren Emirali has won Gold at the 47th Archery New Zealand National Indoor Championships held at Trusts Arena, Henderson over the weekend of 18-19 August.
The Year 10 student was competing in the Recurve Intermediate Girls Division.
Lauren has been shooting for four years for Mountain Green Archery Club on the summit of Mt Albert. She practises four or five times a week, shooting 500-plus arrows weekly.
She has also represented MAGS, coming first in the College Sports Competition Match Play held at Auckland Archery Club in April 2018
Lauren holds the New Zealand record for Indoor Intermediate Girls (since July 2018 ) with a score of 528. The previous record was 511 and had stood since August 2016.
She is aiming to shoot in the Archery New Zealand National (outdoor) Championships held in Auckland in January next year and the World Indoor Champs to be held in Wellington in April.
Her goal is to be selected to compete for NZ at Trans Tasman 2019.
