MAGS Boys Lacrosse teams took away two wins at Westlake Boys on March 5.
The Premier Boys match saw much of the possession go MAGS’ way following a dominant face-off performance from Sam Nash.
Fast feet and skill by Brahman Hunt in the midfield dazzled Westlake’s brawny defence. On occasions, MAGS were caught on the hop by some fast breaks by Westlake, which kept the scores close going into the half-time: MAGS up 4-2.
The MAGS defence dominated in the second half, with Arjan Rahmati and Connor Stubbs setting up some excellent forward momentum and passing play for the forwards Ned Stevenson, Sam Tebbutt, and Liam Baber. Several sizzling shots by William Couldrey capped off a solid win, 9-4.
