Junior Art Competition winners

Competition was fierce in the inaugural colouring competition for Junior students.

Year 9 and 10 entrants were given a template designed by top Year 13 Design student Grace Popplewell (left). They were asked to shade it with colour and add to the design to express their individuality and creativity.

The works were judged by our student Visual Arts leaders who deliberated at length before selecting our three winners: 1st: Willa Meikle 9BVD (pictured above); 2nd: Tamasa Lavea 9GDE; 3rd: Claire Munneke 9MKN

The winners’ pieces and other selected works selected form more than 200 entries are on display in the Small Gallery in E Block. Congratulations to those students, and thanks to the Visual Arts Leaders, Grace Popplewell and Shalin Shah, who helped lead this project.

2nd place went to Tamasa Lavea

Clare Munneke came 3rd for her piece.
