A number of Albertians were among the winners of 2017 University Blues Awards.
Blues are awarded to students who achieve in sport, the arts and culture and service and leadership at a national or international level.
Among the Auckland University award-winners was Brooke Bardell-Munro, who won an Arts and Culture Blue for her work in Architecture.
Auckland University Sports Blues were won by Rachel Adams (Lacrosse), Matthew Battley (Trail Running), Georgia Carter (Lacrosse), Rebecca Cole (Canoe Racing), Aniket Parikh (Cricket) and Molly Swanson (Triathlon).
2014 Deputy Head Boy Eric Munro won an Otago University Sports Blue for his achievements in Waterpolo.
