The Junior Girls Softball team played Massey High School in their first team game at May Rd. They were leading 5 – 4 at the end of the second innings but Massey won at the bottom of the third 9 – 6.
The Junior Boys Softball team played Auckland Grammar School at May Rd, winning convincingly 24-0. They played a second game against St Peter’s College, winning that match 9-3.
This was a chance for the athletes selected for the NZSS Nationals to have an informal practice at Kings College with a group of other schools.
MAGS Girls played in the AKSS Rugby Sevens Tournament out at Waitakere Rugby Club finishing 5th.
The MAGS Under 15 Sevens team won the Auckland Championship at the Waitemata Rugby Club after beating Kelston Boys High School 24-17 in the final.
The Junior Boys played St Peters College down at Grey Lyn Park beating them 3 – 0.
The Junior Girls team played Diocesan School beating them 16 – 1 down at Grey Lyn Park.
This was held out at the Marist Rugby Club in Pamnure.
The Boys remained undefeated until playing Kelston Boys High School in the final.
Played out at the Marist Rugby Club, MAGS entered two teams both a Girls and Boys team.
The Girls finished 5 playing Otahuhu College for 5/6th place and the Boys played Kelston Boys High School in the final finishing 2nd.
Mount Albert Grammar School faced St Kentigern College in the Knock Out Cup Final at Bill McKinley Park in Mount Wellington.
