The annual school cross country took place on March (Girls) and March 31 (Boys).
During both days, the weather cooperated for the most part with only some wind at times posing a challenge.
This year saw the addition of a compulsory Year 11 race to go alongside the traditional Year 9 and 10 races.
Year 12/13 Girls ran with the Year 11 Girls, with the competitive Year 12/13 boys running an extra lap of the course amongst the Year 11 Boys race.
The highlights over the two days were a close finish in the Senior Boys race between William Wood and Tahi Harris, who were neck-and-neck through the two laps of the Senior Boys’ course.
Carys Douglas-Jones ran strongly to finish on top in the Senior Girls race. Arietty Smith-Godoy and Sadie McInnes won the Year 9 and 10 races respectively by over 30 seconds.
In the Year 9 Boys race, Felix Poynter continued his strong form from athletics to win. Max Morgan was also impressive in winning the Year 10 Boys race.
