MAGS hosted their first Parent-Daughter Breakfast in the Atrium of the Maurice Hall Building this morning. One hundred and fifty guests attended the event, where they received a sumptuous buffet breakfast and were entertained by seven string players. Following breakfast, Headmaster Patrick Drumm welcomed the guests and then introduced the special guest speaker, media personality and Year 9 parent Petra Bagust, who gave an entertaining presentation for 20 minutes. Students Genevieve Taua and Tayla Bamber then made a special presentation of flowers to thank Petra.
Tim Kay, Director of Advancement, MAGS Foundation, said, “The inaugural Parent-Daughter Breakfast was a huge success and will now become an annual event on the school calendar.”
