You may already be aware that a yearly Adobe Creative Cloud device licence is available to our students for an annual fee of $40.00. This is a very very reasonable cost.
The purchase of Adobe Creative Cloud is not required, but access on a home computer provides Art Design, Design and Visual Communication, Photography, Media Studies students with a significant advantage.
Payment for a 2017 subscription will need to be made at the school finance office between now and Friday 10 February 2017. The finance office will be open from 8.00am to 4.00pm each day.
You do not have to inform us if you are considering buying the software. We will make the order according to payments made.
Parents who purchased Adobe Creative Cloud in 2016 will need to purchase a new subscription if it is still required by their child in 2017. The 2016 subscription expires mid-March 2017.
Students can access and use all 24 Adobe software programs on their laptop or home desktop computer for 12 months. The licence is for Windows or Mac Computers. It is not available for Android tablets, nor iPads.
The software programs that we use in the senior school in our Art Design, Photography and Media courses include Photoshop, Light Room, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects. These are the current industry standard programs for designing work for print, web and moving image.
This offer is available to all students at Mount Albert Grammar School, not just those in the courses mentioned above.
