The game played with five team members in canoes, one a goal keeper and the rest mobile. The ball is tossed to the middle of the pool as in water polo but there are no intentional swimmers.
The goal is suspended above one end of the pool and paddles
are used to try and deflect it.
These teams have only played together for six months and in
that time have won the Auckland competition and made it to the
quarter-finals in Feilding. An impressive start to the sport in
the school.
