The Mount
Albert Grammar School Number 1 team won the Auckland History
Teachers' Association History Quiz with a score of 83. It was a
wonderful celebration of history by all teams who participated.
There were 61 teams entered. This was a 'Who's Who' of
Auckland schools.
The MAGS team
consisted of: Max Ashmore, David Tuipuloto and Theodor
Drissner-Devine. Their prize is a handsome trophy, certificates
and to be picked up by taxi from school, with their teachers,
taken to the Orbit Restaurant at Sky City for an all expenses
paid lunch (all they can eat) and then delivered back to
school again.
Well done to all three Mount Albert Grammar teams and thanks
very much to those teachers who contributed to the evening.
This great result shows that history is in good heart at Mount
Albert Grammar School.
