International student Daniel Hou was awarded a
scholarship last year
due to his excellent results in music and his role
as the orchestra leader. This year he will also compete at
the National Chamber Competition as the 1st violin of MAGS
Quartet. Daniel performed at the Sydney Opera House and Raye
Freedman Centre last year as the section leader. He has also
performed at the Arts Alive event in August.
Daniel is close to completing 10,000 hours in music by
practising every day for several hours.
