Five MAGS underwater hockey players have been named in New Zealand teams. They will all be travelling to Hobart in July to participate in the ANZAC tournament.

Year 12 students Sam Schulz, James Rowe and Liam Robertson are named as NZ Under 17 representatives. Rebecca Reece is in the NZ Junior women's development team. Cali Manley is in the New Zealand Junior Women's Underwater Hockey team. Both girls are in year 13.
Auckland Regional Championships
MAGS Underwater Hockey teams competed at
Westwave Henderson in June with outstanding
results.
Our four teams placed respectively:
- Junior Open Underwater Hockey team 1st
- Junior Girls 6th
- Senior Open 4th
- Senior Girls 4th
Our players did themselves and our school proud.

Northern Area Championships: June 9 - 10

Feargus McConnell, Ben Walker, Michael Doesburg and Thomas McGarry represented Auckland in the New Zealand Under 18 Underwater Hockey Tournament held in Rotorua over the weekend, which they won.[ Read More ]Season 2006
The Auckland Secondary Schools Underwater Hockey competition wrapped up tonight with the swim fin events. These are interschool competitions with the swimmers wearing their usual fins, mask and snorkel.
Both MAGS Junior & Senior Open won their respective competitions and Chris Drake won the top individual in the Junior Open.
Thomas McGarry won the award for Best Underwater Hockey Player (Boy) at MAGS for 2006.
