Introducing MAGS Parents
Parents and caregivers (MAGS Parents) are an integral part of the MAGS community.
It is important that you feel you are part of the MAGS community so why not come to our friendly and informal MAGS Parents meetings to find out what is happening at the school. There are no strings attached!
Each session has a presentation on specific topics from members of MAGS staff followed by an opportunity for parents/caregivers to ask questions about any aspect of the school and to raise any concerns. The school welcomes our feedback to ensure our childrens needs are understood and met.
John Pipe (Deputy Principal, Staff Development) - jpipe@mags.school.nz iis the staff liaison for MAGS Parents and attends the meetings to answer questions on any topic including: pastoral care, exams, health, homework, NCEA, qualifications, school policy, sports, study, subject options, teaching methods, uniforms, and education in general.
Our sessions are held monthly (during school terms) and are advertised on the school website.

NCEA and Scholarship Results Mr D Burden, Headmaster. MAGS Junior Graduation Programme is a great forerunner to students achieving their best in NCEA. Come and hear about our successes in NCEA. It wont be long before your child is an NCEAer!
