Round six found MAGS First XIII up against St Paul's 'a', played at Auckland Rugby League's grounds at Cornwell Park.
The first half saw a lot of defense from MAGS with St Paul's starting strongly.
They ran in 3 unanswered tries to go up 18-0. MAGS came back with a try in the right corner from Sam Kasiano. Unfortunately the conversion was unsuccessful, leaving the score at 18-4. St Paul's went onto to score 2 more tries ending with a:

The second half saw a lot better performance from MAGS, after a little half time pep talk, beginning the scoring through a break away try from Collin Maue. He converted his own try to bring the score to 28-10.
The score stayed here with strong defense from both teams, until St Paul's scored again just prior to the final whistle. The try was converted making the final score 34-10 to St Paul's
