Albertian Support

Student Mentors - Can you help?
The School is seeking support from all Albertians who have succeeded in business, arts, academy etc. who would be prepared to come and talk to current students.

The School and your Business
The second request is the School would like to build a list of Albertians who have products or services that the school can potentially use. The School wants to use Albertians for products and services where it can.

If you are interested in either initiative, please forward your details to Chris Long

    Benefits

The Albertians Association has established a member benefit system. Payment of the annual Albertians' activity fee entitles members to benefit from a growing range of discounts and specialties.

These include products and services from Vodafone,  Scenic Circle Hotels, Budget Rental Cars, Forte Career Design, New Zealand Financial Planning, Unimed Medical Health Insurance and Select Travel.

  • Albertian Support

There are two initiatives you may wish to consider. We are looking for Albertians who would be prepared to mentor students. The School is also building a register of Albertians who have businesses with products and services the School could potentially use.

  • About the Albertians

Past students are encouraged to join the Albertians Association which organises several events and initiatives each year.

Each year, a prominent ex-pupil is honoured by the Association for significant community service or professional or sporting achievement. Past winners have included current Chairman of the Board of Trustees Greg Moyle, novelist, poet and critic C.K. Stead, All Black Olo Brown and Brian Murphy the School Archivist.

In addition, the Hall of Distinction was established in 1997 as part of the 75th Jubilee celebrations. Membership of the Hall is an honour for past masters of the school who have significantly contributed to the spirit of the School and to Albertians in recognition of their efforts and achievements in the community. More...

Please remember, past students are always welcome to visit the School. Brian Murphy, the School Archivist, will be happy to show you around all the new facilities.

If you have any news of fellow Albertians or memorabilia you would like the School to have, please pass these on to Brian Murphy. We are always on the lookout for information on our past pupils.

All members of the association receive the school's Quarterly magazine which is published at the end of each term. The Quarterly includes Corridors, the newsletter of the Albertians Association.
